Nikki Haley, US Ambassador To The U.N. : “No Political Solution With Assad In Power”

By: John MacKenzie, Staff Reporter

U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations Nikki Haley says she doesn’t expect a political solution in Syria with President Bashar Assad in power.

“There’s not any sort of option where a political solution is going to happen with Assad at the head of the regime,” Haley said in an interview on CNN’s “State of the Union” set to air Sunday.

“If you look at his actions, if you look at the situation, it’s going to be hard to see a government that’s peaceful and stable with Assad,” she added.

“Secondly, we don’t see a peaceful Syria with Assad in there. Thirdly, get the Iranian influence out. And then finally, move toward a political solution, because at the end of this is a complicated situation.”

ICE Officials Arrest Illegal Immigrant From Somalia In Maine Courthouse On The Same Day US Ambassador to Somalia Visits The State

By: John MacKenzie, Staff Reporter

On the same day that Stephen Schwartz, the US Ambassador to Somalia, is in Maine to visit the City of Lewiston, Federal immigration officers have arrested and detained an illegal immigrant from Somalia at the Cumberland County Unified Court in Portland.

Tina Nadeau, who was serving as the court-appointed lawyer of the day said she was meeting with Abdi Ali, 28, who is currently living in Westbrook, in a conference room after his brief court appearance. As they were wrapping up, three men entered the room, announced that they were U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents and said, “we’re here for him,” gesturing to Ali.

Nadeau told them they would have to wait until she was done. After they three men left and stood outside the room, she told Ali not to say anything.

When Ali exited the conference room, the ICE agents handcuffed him and took him away.

Nadeau said Ali was issued a summons in February on a charge of operating under the influence, and was making his first appearance on that charge Thursday.

Was The Syria Gas Attack a false flag? Prize Winning Journalist Believes That Serin Attacks Find Their Roots In Obama Administration

By: Allison Freeman, Staff Reporter

Is the “chemical attack” in Idlib, Syria a false flag operation with roots in the Obama administration?

Prize winning and well respect journalist Seymour Herch believes so.

In two previous articles in the London Review of Books (“Whose Sarin?” and “The Red Line and the Rat Line”) Herch reported that the Obama Administration falsely blamed Syria’s President Bashar al-Assad for the sarin gas attack that Obama was trying to use as an excuse to invade Syria; and Hersh pointed to a report from British intelligence saying that the sarin that was used didn’t come from Assad’s stockpiles.

Hersh has reported that a secret agreement in 2012 was reached between the Obama Administration and the leaders of Turkey, Saudi Arabia, and Qatar, to set up a sarin gas attack and blame it on Assad so that the US could invade and overthrow Assad.

Hersh didn’t say whether these ‘arms’ included the precursor chemicals for making sarin which were stockpiled in Libya, but there have been multiple independent reports that Libya’s Gaddafi possessed such stockpiles, and also that the US Consulate in Benghazi Libya was operating a “rat line” for Gaddafi’s captured weapons into Syria through Turkey.

Recently President Trump shifted American foreign policy away from the idea of regime change in Syria, a policy that the Obama administration highly favored.
